that supports Learning Circles. Here is an example of a "Circle News"
message that was sent to participants during a session. The organization
supporting Learning Circles should send messages like this one to help
facilitate online interaction in the Circle.

The "Famous Speedy Rabbit Award" is presented to classes that
have posted their project AND begun to respond to the projects
of others. Staying ahead of schedule is a good work habit.

Tips on Learning Circle Interaction
1. SUBJECT HEADERS help you keep track of responses.
Mark the message with your project clearly:
Subject: P-MI: School/Class Rules
Here is a suggestion for the subject for AK response to MI.
Subject: AK -> MI: School/Class Rules
2. DIFFICULT PROJECTS: If students from another class pose a
project which is too difficult or too time consuming for your
students, PLEASE DISCUSS IT with the teacher of the sponsoring
class. Silence on a network is frustrating. Teachers will
assume you are working on their project unless you say
otherwise.
